At a launch event in Kuala Lumpur, a number of new Dell and Alienware products have been launched. This includes gaming rigs, monitors, and peripherals.

Today, Dell and Alienware have officially launched a number of new products; The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop, Alienware Aurora Desktop, Alienware monitors, and 4 Alienware gaming peripherals. Let’s dive into each of them one by one.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming Laptop

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop utilized the new NVIDIA Max-Q design, and is powered by a 7th gen Intel Quad Core Cpu and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. It has an anti-glare IPS wide-view Full HD display, dual fan system, Waves MaxxAudio Pro, 2×2 Wi-Fiantenna, and Smartbyte software to prioritize gaming and video content, which ensures a smooth experience even when downloading large files.

The Inspiron 15 7000 also boasts quick-charging capabilities, with it being able to go up to 80% battery charge in only 60 minutes. It also has Thunderbolt 3, which Dell mentioned will support the use of up to two 4K displays.

The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop will be retailing from RM3,899 (which is for the Core i5 model).

Alienware Aurora Desktop

Next up, we have the Alienware Aurora Desktop, which is powered by the 8th gen Intel Core CPU. It is Alienware’s smallest dual-graphics mid-tower desktop. It also features the customizable AlienFX lighting, which is compatible with over 150 games that are available today, such as Sid Meier’s Civilisation VI, Shadow Warrior 2, and Agents of Mayhem.

It’s made of premium materials including anodised aluminium, magnesium alloy with steel reinforcement, and a chassis which allows for easy, tool-less access for easy upgrading.

The new Alienware Aurora desktop will be retailing from RM4,999 and will be available starting 3rd November 2017.

 

Alienware 34-inch Curved Gaming Monitors

Available in either WQHD resolution (Model AW3418DW; 3440×1440) or WFHD resolution (Model AW3418HW; 2560×1080), these 120 Hz Alienware curved gaming monitors feature the iconic Alienware design with customizable AlienFX lighting. It has ultra-thin bezels, and has support for NVIDIA G-SYNC for a smooth, tear-free gaming experience.

The model AW3418DW will be retailing for RM5,599 whereas the model AW3418HW will be retailing for RM5,079.

 

Alienware 25-inch Gaming Monitors

Not to take the shine away from the curved gaming monitors, this one comes with either NVIDIA G-SYNC (AW2518H) or AMD FreeSync (AW2518HF). It offers fast, responsive gameplay with little to not input lag with an rapid 1ms panel response time and native 240 Hz refresh rate. It has 3 preset display modes, full adjustability, single-diecast stand legs, and makes for a seamless panoramic view in a multi-monitor setup thanks to its ultra-thin bezels.

The model AW2518H will be retailing for RM2,699 whereas the model AW2518HF will be retailing for RM2,199.

 

Alienware Pro Gaming Keyboard (AW768)

The Alienware Pro Gaming mechanical keyboard has a dedicated volume roller, 13 zone-based RGB AlienFX illumination, on-board memory for assigning key stroke combinations, and an optional palm rest if you ever need it.

The Alienware Pro Gaming mechanical keyboard will be retailing for RM569.

 

Alienware Advanced Gaming Keyboard (AW568)

The Alienware Advanced Gaming Keyboard on the other hand utilizes mechanical keys (brown switches), for a more enjoyable typing and gaming experience. It has 5 dedicated macro keys to give gamers an edge in their gameplay, and allows for further personalization via the Alienware Control Center software. This also has an optional palm rest if you need it

The Alienware Advanced Gaming mechanical keyboard will be retailing for RM369.

 

Alienware Elite Gaming Mouse (AW958)

New Dell and Alienware Products Launched in Malaysia

The Alienware Elite Gaming mouse is targetted to MMO players mostly. It has swappable grips, up to 13 programmable buttons, and up to 5 stops for adjusting the DPI.

The Alienware Elite Gaming mouse will be retailing for RM429.

 

Alienware Advanced Gaming Mouse (AW558)

The Alienware Advanced Gaming mouse on the other hand is said to be the more comfortable option. It offers multiple configurations with on-the-fly DPI switch, and 9 unique buttons for in-game customization.

The Alienware Advanced Gaming mouse will be retailing for RM229.

 

Pokdepinion: Pardon me as I catch my breath as there is a lot of products being launched here. All of them are beautiful, that’s for sure. We’d definitely love to get more hands-on with the Aurora desktop and the Inspiron 15 7000 to get a better understanding of their capabilities. Only time will tell.
