Nikon Z 50 launched in Malaysia!
Today Nikon launch the new addition to their mirrorless Z series the Nikon Z 50, an APS-C mirrorless camera that focused to meet the needs of content creator!

The camera is light and compact, having very similar profile like the Nikon D3000 series but pack significantly more feature! Featuring a 21.5 MP APS-C sensor backed by an EXPEED 6 engine, it carries the same hybrid auto-focusing system with 209 focus points like it elder brothers, the Z7 and Z6. It is capable to shoot up to 11 fps Low-speed continuous. The camera is also capable to record 4K30 video with no crop and slow-mo of 120 fps at FHD. With the Z-mount, you can expect the camera to be very versatile in its lens line-up, being capable to use DX mount lenses with an adapter as well as the new Z series lenses.

Designed to meet the needs of content creator, the Nikon Z 50 was also launch with an entourage of accessories. Items such as a camera rig by Small Rig, compatible boom mic, and other accessories were presented in the launch.

Speaking at the launch, Mr David Ng, Managing Director of Nikon Malaysia said: “Over the years, Nikon has continually set out to develop cameras that effectively capture the emotions and artistic expressions of people all around the world.

“Identifying a new breed of users who are constantly on the go and desire fast, efficient sharing without compromising on quality, we set out to create something that allows users to bring their imagination to life in the blink of an eye. Leveraging on the quality, durability and ergonomics of the Z 7 and Z 6, the Z 50 packs the high-performance of its Z series predecessors in an agile form. It is also equipped with built-in Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth making it a formidable tool for creators to express their artistic vision online instantly,” Ng added.

The Nikon Z 50 is currently available in 3 packages. For the body only, it costs RM4098. Throw in the 16-50 kit lens at RM4598, and finally the twin lens kit with the 16-50 and 50-250 lenses will set you back RM5398. The product is now available in retail and online purchases.
