nubia Alpha Smartwatch Revealed — Features A 4-inch OLED Screen With 5MP Camera

It’s normal when you think smartwatches, you’d think of Samsung and Apple. To try and interfere with the two giants is nubia, where they’ve introduced their new nubia Alpha smartwatch.

One of the key features of the nubia Alpha is its 4-inch OLED screen. Inside, it uses a Snapdragon Wear 2100 SoC that comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There’s also a 5MP camera on the right corner of the front, which is accompanied by two buttons. The sensor meanwhile is located on the left hand side. Under the hood is a 500mAh battery and it is worth noting that it is an eSIM powered device.

There are three variants to the nubia Alpha which includes the standard Black, Stainless Steel, and 18K Gold version. The standard Black is priced at CNY3,499 (~RM2133) and the Stainless Steel and 18K Gold Version retails at CNY4,499 (~RM2,743)

Pokdepinion: Seems good enough but I dislike the fact that you’d need to use an eSIM for it instead of a traditional SIM..
