[Update 1] OPPO F7 Now Officially Launched In Malaysia!

After weeks of teasing us with bits of news regarding the OPPO F7 here and there, the latest addition to OPPO’s F series has finally made it to our shores. The OPPO F7 is of course powered by A.I. technology and is set to take selfie photography to new heights. At least that’s what it says on the brochure.

The OPPO F7 will sport a 6.2 inch FHD+ (1080 x 2280) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio together with the popular notch design at the top that houses the huge front camera. Under the hood, the device also has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset together with 4GB of RAM as well as 64GB of internal storage that is expandable via a microSD card. There will also a 6GB RAM variant of the OPPO F7 coming at another date with 128GB internal storage.

The smartphone is also powered by a decently sized 3,400 mAh battery and will run on their own ColorOS 5.0 operating system, which is based on Android Oreo 8.1.

The OPPO F7 features a jaw dropping 25MP selfie camera and uses a Sony IMX576 sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. Featuring the upgraded A.I. Beauty 2.0, OPPO F7 enables users to capture more real, natural and personalized selfies by scanning your face for 298 facial recognition points. The A.I. can even detect a person’s age, gender, skin colour as well skin type and can detect up to four different subjects. The A.I. Beauty 2.0 will also be in effect during video calls so you can look good anywhere and anytime. As for the back, the F7 will feature a single 16MP rear shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. No dual camera here.

The F7 will also come in three colours, Solar Red, Moonlight Silver as well as Diamond Black.

The OPPO F7 will be available for purchase for a retail price of RM 1,399 this 21 April during the roadshow that will take place in Sunway Pyramid. After that the F7 can be purchased from any OPPO Concept Stores, OPPO Official Sales Points or online at OPPO’s official website, as well as Lazada, 11Street and Shopee. Alternatively you can also find the OPPO F7 through Celcom, Senheng and SenQ.

The pre-order period for the new device ends today (20 April) and with every pre-order you will get a complimentary gift box worth RM 299 as well as a chance to meet the beautiful Min-Chen on stage at the roadshow itself. This gift box includes a Bluetooth headphone, an OPPO F7 model phone case as well as a ring holder.

[Update 1] OPPO F7 x Neelofa Edition Available For Preorder

The OPPO F7 x Neelofa Edition will be only available for online pre-orders which you can do by signing up as a member at OPPO’s official website and purchase the device. You can then collect the device at the store you’ve chosen on the 9th of June 2018. The special edition includes Neelofa’s signature scarf, Raya Edition phone case, Neelofa’s wishing card, bluetooth headset, and of course the phone itself. The phone will also contain selfies from Neelofa herself and have her personalized ringtone.
