OPPO R11 TFBOYS Edition to be sold in China; yet another variant of the OPPO R11 we can’t have
Well I must admit that I don’t know who are the TFBOYS or why would OPPO want to make smartphones with signatures of boyband members on the back. They should put Min Chen’s signature on it, but that’s probably just me. But yeah, for those of you who know who are the TFBOYS and would like to have a smartphone with their signature on the back, OPPO has the R11 TFBOYS Edition for you. If you live in China, that is.
Apparently the band consists of three members, so there will be three different variants, each bearing the signature of one of the members. Aside from the signature, there will also be an 18K gold-plated insignia of the band. The icon set and wallpaper will also reflect your choice.
Hardware wise, the OPPO R11 TFBOYS Edition is no different from the standard variant, just like the OPPO R11 FC Barcelona Edition. This means a Snapdragon 660, 4GB RAM, 5.5″ 1080p AMOLED display, 3300 mAh battery and the 16MP+20MP dual camera system shared with the OnePlus 5.
If you want one, you will have to get it in China, and there are only 1000 units of each variant. The price is the same as the standard OPPO R11 at RMB 2999, so you have that in your favor.
