5/10PS4 Pro Getting Price Cut in Japan
The folks over at Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan announced that there will be a price cut for the PS4 Pro in Japan starting 12th October 2018 onwards.
The 1TB PS4 Pro variant will see a roughly 5,000 yen price cut from 44,980 yen to 39,980 yen plus taxes. Along with that, the limited edition Glacier White colour variant will now be sold as a regular product and will be available alongside the usual options.
As for the Kingdom Hearts III Limited Edition PS4 Pro console, the suggested retail price will also see a reduction, from 53,780 yen to 47,780 yen plus taxes.
No price cut for the standard PlayStation 4 models have been announced. At the moment, this will only be the case for Japan but other regions may soon follow suit, especially for us here in Malaysia. We have yet to hear from Sony Interactive Entertainment of this region but we expect to hear more about this, if there is any, very soon so stay tuned to Pokde.net for more updates.

Pokdepinion: Usually, this would be taken as a very good indication that price cuts will be coming for various regions in the world, especially since it is a significant difference. However, only time will tell if we get to enjoy it here ourselves.
