If you’ve missed our previous coverage, this year’s MWC is officially cancelled due to the concerns of the 2019-nCoV (or COVID-19) outbreak. Despite plans on releasing their new flagship smartphone at the event, realme has announced that they will still be revealing the realme X50 Pro 5G in Madrid.

With MWC being cancelled, realme will instead launch the smartphone, albeit online globally at Madrid on the 24th of February 2020 (local time).

The company has given teasers that the phone will be featuring a 65W SuperDart Charge, which sees them move on from OPPO’s patent VOOC fast charge technology.

Other than that, the realme X50 Pro 5G comes equipped with a Snapdragon 865 with support for dual-mode 5G.

Set to run on realme UI, the phone is said to offer up to 12GB RAM that’s paired with 256GB of internal storage.
