Many people were in disbelief when ROG unveiled the ROG Mothership laptop at CES 2019. Why? Well it packs an Intel Core i9 9980HK processor as well as an RTX 2080 graphics inside. All that in a mobile form factor. Now it seems that ROG Malaysia has confirm that the gaming machine will make its way to our shores here.

Adding to the powerful CPU and GPU combo, it also offers a RADI 0, consisting of three NVMe SSDs for top of the line performance. Besides that, it comes with support of up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and the 8C/16T CPU runs up to 5.0GHz when maxed out.

One of the things that make the ROG Mothership stand out is its form factor, where it takes the form of a tablet (while packing all those power inside!). Its display is 17.3″ big and it offers a 144Hz refresh rate with G-Sync.

Pokdepinion: I wouldn’t dare to even dream of buying the ROG Mothership. Don’t think a kidney or two will suffice here.. Adding to that, I’m curious on how many units that they are offering here in Malaysia. It’s hard to think that they’ll ship a lot of units to the country..
