If you thought Mobile2Go’s price for the Samsung Galaxy Fold was a bit too high, well, it is. Samsung Malaysia has officially announced the pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Fold, and it will be priced from just RM8388.

It isn’t cheap, but then again you are paying for what might be the most advanced smartphone display ever on a smartphone. Innovation does not come cheap, guys. Also it comes with Galaxy Buds worth RM499 in the box, so you aren’t actually paying that much for the Galaxy Fold itself. I mean, certain brands charge about as much for a smartphone with a luxury car brand logo on it.

However, aside from the cool flexible display which is both a boon and bane for Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Fold touts specifications that are par for the course in a flagship. Nothing too special, as you can see below.

Samsung Galaxy Fold Specs

  • Snapdragon 855, octa-core up to 2.84 GHz, 7nm FinFET
  • 12GB RAM
  • 512GB UFS 3.0 storage
  • 4.6″ HD+ Super AMOLED (outside) + 7.3″ QXGA+ Infinity Flex AMOLED display (inside)
  • 12MP F1.5/F2.4 primary + 12MP f/2.4 2x telephoto + 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide
  • 10MP f/2.2 + 8MP f/1.9 depth sensor selfie camera
  • 4380 mAh battery (15W wired and wireless charging)
  • RM8388

The pre-orders will commence this 9th October, and the Galaxy Fold can be gotten in Cosmos Black or Space Silver. Keeping up the exclusivity is 24/7 customer care services, to ensure that you get the best experience Samsung has to offer. Are you game?
