Samsung A series 2017 is now dust and water-resistant — Priced at RM1699 and RM1899
Samsung Malaysia today officially launched its two-new smartphone the Samsung A5 and A7 2017 series. The new Samsung A5 and A7 smartphone sports with some new specifications and added the dust and water-resistant feature.
The Samsung A7 2017 features a 5.7-inch with Super AMOLED display at full HD resolution. The Samsung A7 2017 is powered by octa core Exynos 7880 SoC with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via a mico-SD card.
For its shooter, the Samsung A7 features a 16MP camera sensor for both rear and front shooter and sports a large 3600mAh battery.
Pretty similar like the Samsung A7 2017, but the A5 will be using smaller screen at 5.2-inch and smaller battery capacity at 3000mAh. Both devices will be using reversible USB Type-C connector and will be available in Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud color options.The new Samsung A5 and Samsung A7 will be running on Android 6.0.

Samsung A5 2017 is priced at RM 1699 while the Samsung A7 2017 will be priced at RM 1899. Both devices will be ready to be pre-order starting 6th January 2017 at 10AM. This will continue until 15th January 2017 at selected Samsung stores. During this pre-order sale, Samsung will throw in the Level U Pro wireless headset, worth RM399, for free.
