The GeForce RTX-powered ROG G703GX and ROG Zephyrus S GX531GW are now here in Malaysia
ASUS’ high-end gaming laptops, the ROG Chimera G703 and ROG Zephyrus S has just received a major upgrade with the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics. These laptops are now ready to take on any raytraced and DLSS titles you have.
ROG Chimera G703GX
The ROG Chimera G703GX will be available in two variants, with either an overclockable Intel Core i9 8950HK processor, or an Intel Core i7 8750H. Both variants will tout the GeForce RTX 2080 8GB GDDR6, which will be feeding the beautiful 17.3″ 1080p display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, G-SYNC and 100% sRGB gamut.
Keeping things cool will be the HyperCool Pro thermal system, with 12V fans that can push loads of air out of the chassis. The following are the specifications for the two variants of the ROG G703GX offered here in Malaysia:

ROG Zephyrus S GX531GW
The much svelter ROG Zephyrus S comes with a GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q, crammed into a body that’s less than 15.75mm thick. It’s not only thin though, as it features a footprint not much larger than its display thanks to the super-narrow bezels around the screen.
While thin, the ROG Zepyhrus S touts the innovative Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) which expands to help the Zephyrus S draw in more air when you are pushing the limits in demanding games. With 12V fans pushing air through quad heatsinks, the ROG Zephyrus tames the thermals without having to sacrifice in terms of looks.
