U Mobile won several awards at this year’s Frost & Sullivan Malaysia Excellence awards with one of them being Malaysia’s Mobile Data Service Provider of the Year award.

Besides being named Malaysia’s Mobile Data Service Provider of the Year, which they’ve won the award before, they’ve also won awards in Online Experience in Telecommunications Industry, Mobile Experience in Telecommunications Industry, as well as the Overall Experience in Telecommunications Industry.

Besides App-Onz, which their prepaid users can enjoy unlimited data for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, the company is also the first in the country to offer free data for Waze and also the first to commercially launch 4.5G service on 1800Mhz and 2600Mhz. Not to forget, they also were the first to offer life microinsurance to their customers.
