What Do Gamers Look For In The Next-gen Consoles? The Answer Might Surprise You

While it will still be awhile for us to see the introduction of both the PS5 and Xbox Series X, one might ask; what exactly are gamers looking for in the next-gen consoles? Well Ed Boon, the creative director of Mortal Kombat 11 has recently asked his followers to find out.

50,000+ of you have spoken and PRICE seems to be the most important factor for Next Gen consoles.

As you can see, coming with an affordable price will really attract gamers as 37.5% has voted on the option. Next up in line is backwards compatibility. You would think that exclusives are what consoles famous for but it seems that it falls last with ‘Better Graphics’ coming in higher at 19.2%.

It’s worth noting that this survey is not formal to say the least, but considering that there’s a total of 50,000+ votes (at the time of writing), it shows a lot. What about you? What do you think of the results? Let us know in the comments below.

Pokdepinion: Nope, not going to argue with the poll. Price is definitely the top pick for me. I’d say better graphics and exclusives is just right behind.
