WhatsApp To Come With Ads Soon
According to WABetaInfo, it turns out that WhatsApp will soon show ads in the Status section, where they will appear somewhat similar to Instagram in the form of stories.

Originally created to be an ad-free app, things could get really annoying with the introduction of advertisements on the platform. Despite the news, not all users will be affected, it seems.
Based from the popular WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo has said, it seems that he has found evidence of a new version of the social media platform that will show ads in the Status section for iOS devices.
The type of ads will be interesting though as if they implemented ad-targeting, they would need to acquire some of your personal data as in reading your personal chats. We should take into account that Facebook has bought over WhatsApp previously and they could take data that’s associated with your Facebook accounts.
As for Android users, there’s no confirmation that it will affect them as well but more likely than not, it would. Maybe it will be established in a later period.

Pokdepinion: Everyone hates ads… but personally, even if ads did come over to Whatsapp, I wouldn’t be annoyed as much. Reason? Well I don’t use the Status section at all.
