Nothing’s budget sub-brand, CMF by Nothing, has officially introduced the new Buds and Neckband Pro to Malaysian markets.

The CMF Buds is touted as ‘best-in-class’ for its ANC capabilities, which the company claims is capable of 42dB of noise suppressing across the bandwidth of 2900Hz. The earbuds use 4 onboard microphones for communications, with its Clear Voice Technology touted to filter wind noises via its ‘advanced wind noise reduction algorithm.’ In terms of audio, it’s packed with a very large 12.4mm driver that should deliver plenty of bass. Nothing says this uses Dirac Opteo for tuning, and five EQ presets are tuned for various music styles.

Battery-wise, the earbuds themselves come with 45mAh battery onboard, while the case provides an extra 460mAh of charge. This converts to 8 hours of listening time per charge, and a combined 35.5 hours with the case. Fast charging provides up to 6.5 hours of listening time with a 10-minute recharge, Nothing claims.

For those who want a workout-centric offering, the CMF Neckband Pro comes with five onboard microphones and a chipset to provide up to 50dB of hybrid ANC, which can be adjusted in three levels for those who don’t want the strongest ANC to make themselves aware of the surroundings while out and about. There’s still Transparency Mode if you want the full volume of the surroundings, too.

Onboard the Neckband Pro is a 3-in-1 dial that provides volume, media, and ANC controls via rotating or pressing the dial. It’s powered by a pair of 13.6mm ‘composite diaphragm driver’ with 0.27cc (cm³) back chamber to deliver fuller bass. You can adjust the bass levels via the Nothing X app, and the onboard chipset detects incoming signals to create spatial audio or deliver optimal bass levels on the fly. It comes with a 220mAh battery that runs up to 37 hours on a single charge, or up to 18 hours with a 10-minute fast charging.

The CMF Buds and CMF Neckband Pro will be available starting April 4th, 2024 at the price of RM199 and RM189 respectively.

Pokdepinion: The design looks very clean for a budget product still.
