Razer Debuts Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed With Dual-Mode Wireless Capabilities

Razer has just announced its latest TWS earbuds, the Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed: aside from the standard Bluetooth connectivity like virtually all wireless earbuds, the Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed also comes with a USB-C wireless dongle that can be connected to any gaming-capable device to deliver audio at lower latency through 2.4GHz wireless.

This pair features a 10mm drivers and a fairly standard 20 – 20,000Hz frequency response; as for latency figures, Razer is touting as low as 60ms on Bluetooth mode which they claim is significantly lower than competing TWS solutions, whereas the HyperSpeed dongle will further slash that number down to just 40 milliseconds. There’s the added level of convenience of plug-and-play with the dongle, too.

Meanwhile, the ANC features 10 levels of noise suppression which is adjustable in Razer Audio app, alternatively the ANC can be turned on, off or switch to ambient mode independently outside the app by tapping on the earbuds. The charging comes in two ways – Qi wireless charging and wired USB-C charging, both of which can provide up to 24 hours of additional battery life to the case itself, or 30 hours combined.

There’s also the Do-Not-Disturb mode that suppresses Bluetooth notifications during gaming sessions; and Razer Chroma RGB unsurprisingly is a feature for this pair of earbuds too – though it’ll cost you some battery life. It’s also IPX4 rated, in case your gaming sessions get rather sweaty. Razer’s pricing for the Hammerhead Pro HyperSpeed is RM999 – which are now available worldwide.

Pokdepinion: That price is gonna need some seriously impressive audio and latency to make it worthwhile.
