ASUS ROG Announces 2-Year Partnership with MLBB Publisher MOONTON Games
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has recently unveiled a two-year partnership with MOONTON Games, a leading international gaming developer and publisher – the collaboration aims to enhance the gaming experience for players worldwide and optimize the performance of the ROG Phone series specifically for tournament usage. This strategic alliance builds upon the successful collaboration between the two companies during the Malaysia Professional League in 2022 and marks a significant expansion beyond regional boundaries.
As part of the partnership, ROG will preload the popular Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) application on the upcoming ROG Phone 7 series. In addition, an exclusive MLBB-themed interface setup will be made available to fans. This initiative is designed to offer seamless access to the game on the latest ROG Phone and create a shared experience during upcoming MLBB tournaments, starting with the highly anticipated Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023.
Alexis Wong, MOONTON Games Regional Sales and Business Development Lead for Esports Division, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. “It brings us great pleasure to engage in a collaborative endeavor alongside ROG, aiming to elevate the realm of esports and gaming for all individuals. This alliance promises to provide MLBB gamers with an unparalleled avenue through which they can indulge in the finest forms of esports and gaming content consumption.”
“At ROG, we develop every ROG Phone with an unwavering focus on performance, power efficiency, and delivering an immersive gaming experience,” says Shawn Chang, ASUS Global Sales and Marketing Director of Phone Business Unit. “We aim to provide phones with cutting-edge features that enhance the MLBB gaming experience and take esports tournaments to the next level.”
The first major event under this partnership will be the MSC 2023, set to take place in June in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This event is notable as it will feature new teams from outside Southeast Asia, including North America, MENA (Middle East and North Africa), and Turkey, further expanding the global reach and competitiveness of the tournament.
