Razer has announced the Razer Kraken Kitty V3, a wired RGB headset built for streamers and cosplayers who want their audio gear to double as a statement piece. The Kraken Kitty V3 carries forward the series’ signature illuminated kitty ears and earcups powered by Razer Chroma RGB, while adding updated audio hardware and plug-and-play USB Type-C connectivity for both PC and mobile devices.

The Kraken Kitty V3 connects via a fixed USB Type-C cable and requires no driver installation, letting creators go live almost immediately; hybrid fabric and leatherette ear cushions provide passive noise isolation and are designed to remain comfortable during long streaming sessions and gaming marathons.

The Razer Chroma RGB is applied across the illuminated kitty ears and earcups, and users can configure three onboard lighting presets for quick color and effect changes without a PC, which Razer says is particularly useful at conventions or cosplay events where a power bank can keep the RGB active on the go. For streamers, integration with Razer’s Streamer Companion app allows lighting to react dynamically to chat alerts, emotes, and audience interactions, so viewers can know what’s happening by staring at the cat ears. (We don’t judge.)

For its audio, the Razer TriForce 40mm drivers use a three-part design designed to improve audio separation between high, mid, and low frequencies; this is paired with 7.1 virtual surround sound for positional audio in games. The HyperClear Cardioid Mic is tuned to capture the user’s voice while rejecting ambient background noise during live sessions and voice calls.

The Razer Kraken Kitty V3 is priced at RM459 in Malaysia. It is available now from Razer.com, RazerStores, and select retailers worldwide.

Pokdepinion: It’s probably easier to spot a Twitch message appearing on-screen than the headset in a small part of the screen, right?
