JBL has introduced its new JBL Modern Audio (MA) AV Receivers and Stage 2 Loudspeakers, providing an integrated solution for those upgrading existing systems or newcomers of home theatre audio.

The MA AV Receivers and Stage 2 Loudspeakers are designed as a “turnkey” system that can be installed and configured instantly, and users can customize the sound to their space via the EZ Set EQ mobile app. The Wi-Fi enabled AVRs also support SmartThings integration, plus multiple audio platforms from the likes of Apple AirPlay, Chromecast, Bluetooth, and Spotify.
The systems include what JBL calls “next-generation patented HDI waveguides” for wide-ranging sound, and anodized tweeters for clear high frequencies; in terms of design, the JBL MA AV Receivers and Stage 2 Loudspeakers feature a contemporary look, available in Latte and Espresso colors. Overall, the lineup offers scalability catering to diverse user preferences, ranging from a basic two-channel setup or a high-end home theatre system with 8K HDMI, Dolby Atmos, and DTS support.
The models include the 60W MA310 5.2-channel 4K AV Receiver, the 75W MA510 5.2-channel 8K AV Receiver, the MA710/MA710HP 7.2-channel 8K AV Receivers, and the MA9100HP offering up to 9.1 channels. Complementing these, the Stage 2 Loudspeaker series features models like the 260F and 280F floor-standing speakers, 240B and 250B bookshelf models, the 245C center channel speaker, the 240H Dolby Atmos module, and subwoofers including the 200P and 220P.
The JBL MA Series AV Receivers and Stage 2 Series Loudspeakers are now available, with suggested retail prices ranging from RM2,900 to RM11,300 for the MA AV Receivers and RM2,000 to RM7,900 per pair for the Stage 2 Loudspeakers. Malaysians can try them out at the AV Designs showroom in Boulevard Business Park, with purchases to be made through ActSessory Shoppe website.
