Haier has outlined its business strategy and targets for 2025 while reviewing its achievements for 2024 during the Southeast Asia Dealer Conference, held in Malaysia for the first time. The event, which gathered 600 delegates from eight Southeast Asian countries, highlighted Malaysia’s significance within Haier’s regional network and coincided with the brand’s 40th anniversary.

Haier Ends 2024 Strong

The conference included discussions on the brand’s strong market performance in 2024, with Haier Malaysia achieving its 40% projected growth ahead of the holiday period. Key product categories recorded significant year-on-year sales increases, including air conditioners (47%), televisions (38%), washing machines (37%), and refrigerators (35%).

In 2025, Haier plans to introduce several new models in Malaysia, with room air conditioners being the focus while also expanding the rest of the home appliance range. The company is currently the top room air conditioner brand in Malaysia, as confirmed by a GfK report from June 2024, and aims to establish itself as the leading home appliance brand in the country.

Besides that, the Chinese home appliances giant also announced plans to increase its network of brand shops in Malaysia from 55 to 75 by 2025. The brand aims to sustain a high revenue growth rate of 30% annually over the next five years and achieve a market share exceeding 30% by 2029.
