Acer Nitro VG240YE And VG270E Monitors Launched in Malaysia with Affordable Prices
At a launch event in KL, Acer Malaysia has launched the Acer Nitro VG240YE and VG270E, bringing notable upgrades to mainstream monitors.

Acer Malaysia has introduced two new Nitro series monitors for the Malaysian market: the Nitro VG240YE and Nitro VG270E. Both have IPS panels with 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms VRB response time. The only difference is size, with the VG240YE having a 24-inch display and the VG270E a 27-inch panel. Both feature Acer’s ZeroFrame bezel-less design and a tiltable three-pronged stand and are VESA mount compatible for use with third-party stands, wall mounts, or arms.
Both Nitro VG240YE and Nitro VG270E monitors have IPS panels with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 99% sRGB color gamut. They also have Acer VisionCare technology to reduce eye strain and BlueLightShield Pro to reduce blue light while maintaining color accuracy and brightness.
The Nitro monitors support HDMI and DisplayPort connectivity, an improvement over previous Acer releases with only HDMI and VGA. Note that they do not have USB ports, speakers, or audio jacks. The VG240YE and VG270E are priced at RM459 and RM549 respectively, making them affordable options for entry-level gaming, general use, or productivity. They can be purchased on the Acer eStore and official stores on both Shopee and Lazada.
Pokdepinion: 100Hz sounds like an odd figure but not everyone is going for 240Hz, 360Hz and the likes. For regular use, it’s more than enough will still being a notable step up from the usual 60Hz.
