Samsung Malaysia has just unveiled its latest gaming monitor, the Odyssey OLED G9, which features an impressive range of cutting-edge technologies, including next-level AI upscaling. Building on the success of its predecessor, the Odyssey OLED G8 (G85SB), this new addition to the lineup is set to revolutionize the world of OLED gaming.

The Odyssey OLED G9 boasts a generous 49-inch display with a 1800R curvature, making it the first OLED monitor to offer Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD) resolution, featuring a 32:9 ratio with a remarkable 5,120 x 1,440 pixels. The expansive and wide screen allows users to immerse themselves in super-ultrawide vistas, equivalent to having two QHD screens side by side. Its rapid 0.03ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time and a 240Hz refresh rate also provide gamers with a competitive edge for a smoother and more immersive experience.
What sets the Odyssey OLED G9 apart from other gaming monitors is the addition of the Neo Quantum Processor Pro. Pokdepinion: We have TVs moving into monitor territories with its newfound performance, and now we have monitors moving into TV territories with its smart apps. If the line between the two display devices haven’t been blurred enough, this definitely does the job. Not complaining though, at the end of the day, the consumer gets more choices and that’s always a plus in my book.
