Yaber has announced the launch of its latest innovation, the Yaber T2 Plus, for Malaysian consumers. Building on its success with the Yaber K2s at-home cinema projectors, the T2 Plus promises to revolutionize outdoor entertainment with its portable design and impressive audiovisual capabilities.

The Yaber T2 Plus is designed to deliver a superior viewing and listening experience, thanks to its partnership with JBL. This collaboration has resulted in a projector that not only boasts native 1080P resolution but also industry-leading sound quality. According to Marshall Mao, General Manager of Yaber, “After months of development with JBL, we are delighted to bring our customers a truly portable cinema experience.”
The T2 Plus projector features 450 ANSI Lumens of brightness and native 1080P resolution, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals even in environments with ambient lighting. It supports a projection range of 40” to 120”, allowing users to project large, clear images on a variety of surfaces, including uneven ones like the side of a camping van. The projector also comes with dual JBL speakers and Dolby Audio support, creating a well-balanced audiovisual experience that rivals high-end portable systems.
Built with outdoor enthusiasts in mind, the T2 Plus comes with a built-in battery that offers up to 2.5 hours of movie playback or up to 18 hours of Bluetooth-connected music playback, making it the longest-lasting music player among projectors in its class. To ensure durability, Yaber has included several innovations such as a unique air ventilation system to prevent overheating, a rotating handle for stability, and a fully sealed optical engine to prevent dust accumulation.
The Yaber T2 Plus is not just about performance; it also stands out with its modern minimalist design. Featuring soft curved edges, a warm color palette, and sleek aesthetics, it is designed to add style and elegance to any gathering or party.
The T2 Plus makes setup easy with automatic focus and keystone correction. Yaber’s intelligent software automatically adjusts the screen to its destination, saving users time and effort. Further manual adjustments can be made using the settings menu and remote control.
The Projector T2 Plus is equipped with a Google TV Dongle, allowing users to stream content from Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube, and over 7,000 other apps. The dongle also supports Google Assistant, providing a seamless streaming experience. Additionally, users can connect their smartphones via the Yaber App for screen mirroring, remote control, and NFC connectivity.
Pricing and Availability
The Yaber Projector T2 Plus is available for purchase at RM1,799 on Yaber’s official store on Lazada and Shopee. It will also be available at major local partner stores from 26th August onwards. The Yaber T2 Plus Keith Haring Edition is set to launch in the Malaysian market in Q4, 2024.
Pokdepinion: It’s an interesting gadget but it’s also still quite a niche. Not sure if it can sell well here but it certainly does look promising, at least on paper.
