AMD has announced the Radeon AI Pro R9700 new graphics card for professional users and AI developers, soon to be available for purchase starting 27 October 2025 as a standalone unit, after early rollouts from various OEMs.
AMD Radeon AI Pro R9700 Now Available

The Radeon AI Pro R9700 features 32GB of GDDR6 memory, with an otherwise highly similar specs to Radeon RX 9070 XT, its gaming-focused counterpart. That means same core counts (4096 SPs, 64 CUs), memory bus width (256-bit GDDR6), while power draw and core clocks are nearly identical, with the workstation card drawing 4 watts less at 300W, via a single 12V-2×6 connector instead of PCIe 8-pin connectors found on the gaming card.
While the R9700 shares similarities with the RX 9070 XT, it is naturally positioned primarily for workstation systems that require high-end graphics along with large VRAM capacity to handle complex projects and LLM training. AMD says the Radeon AI Pro R9700 is now available through system integrators and authorized retailers starting from a retail price of US$1,299 (~RM5,486).
