Intel announced that they are shipping Intel Arc graphics to their OEM partners. Among their partners include Acer, ASUS, Clevo, MSI, GIGABYTE, as well as less known PC brands like Haier and NEC. There are more than 50 new mobile and desktop PCs set to feature Intel Arc, which is great for gamers and content creators who are looking for more choices beyond what’s available in the market.
Intel Arc shipping now, Intel XeSS to debut in Death Stranding
Along with that announcement, Intel also shared that they are currently working with game developers and publishers to implement their XeSS AI-driven upscaling technology. Among the first games to adopt Intel XeSS will be Death Stranding Director’s Cut, which was also one of the first games to feature NVIDIA’s DLSS. Aside from Intel XeSS, Death Stranding Director’s Cut will also feature optimizations to take advantage of the 12th Gen Intel Core processors’ hybrid architecture.
Intel is confident that the list of games featuring XeSS will just continue to grow. Studios committed to supporting the technology include 505 Games, Codemasters, EXOR Studios, Fishlabs, Hashbane, IOI, Illfonic, Kojima Productions, Massive Work Studio, PUBG Studios, Techland, Ubisoft and Wonder People.
Intel Deep Link to feature in DaVinci Resolve
Remember the Intel Deep Link that Intel introduced with the Intel Iris Xe MAX discrete graphics? Well, it will continue to enhance content creation with the Intel Arc graphics architecture, as software like DaVinci Resolve will be able to take advantage of Deep Link Hyper Encode, to use both integrated and discrete graphics to simultaneously accelerate encoding of the same video stream. DaVinci Resolve is optimized for Intel Arc graphics and next-gen Quick Sync technologies.
Intel also appears to be right on schedule, which means that we will get to see Arc-based products pretty soon!
