[CES 2023] ASUS Brings RTX 4070 Ti Under ROG STRIX and TUF Gaming Lineup
ASUS Brings RTX 4070 Ti Under ROG STRIX and TUF Gaming Lineup
Four models are priming for launch – two for each lineup.
The first two models fall under the ROG STRIX branding – which differs in clockspeeds but are otherwise sharing the same design. The ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4070 Ti (and its OC variant) measures at 3.15-slot and 336mm with new 11-blade fan providing 31% more air and 56% more static pressure over the preceding RTX 3080 designs, ASUS claims. Dual-BIOS, two FanConnect II headers and AURA Sync RGB continues to be the feature for these designs.
On the more mainstream TUF Gaming lineup comes the same chip – both standard and OC variants. The TUF cards are shorter in length at 305mm but measures slightly thicker at 3.25-slot, which should provide better case compatibility. ASUS says the unibody die-case shroud maintains the same structural strength as its RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 counterparts, and AURA Sync RGB is also available with a small light strip near the end of the GPU shroud. Both ROG and TUF models feature a second HDMI port on top of the existing 3x DP + 1x HDMI I/O configuration.
The pricing for ROG STRIX models are RM4,899 (OC) and RM4,799 (Standard) while the TUF Gaming models are priced at RM4,399 (OC) and RM4,150 (Standard).
Pokdepinion: Not a fan of that price but that’s what NVIDIA says…
