NVIDIA opened gamescom 2026 with a series of GeForce announcements, headlined by the formal release of DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction feature. Alongside that, which is announced during the company’s GeForce On broadcast, includes updates on RTX Remix, GeForce NOW, RTX Spark and more.
DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction Now Available
DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is available now through the NVIDIA App and adds a second-generation transformer model aimed at improving image quality in ray-traced and path-traced titles. The feature replaces traditional denoisers with an AI network trained on NVIDIA’s supercomputers, generating pixel data in areas of a frame where rays were not sampled.

According to NVIDIA, the new model delivers 35% more compute capability and processes 20% more parameters than its predecessor, while maintaining comparable performance; it also cited improvements in spatial awareness, lighting accuracy, temporal stability, and motion clarity, along with an expanded training dataset and finer developer controls for temporal accumulation.
To access the feature, users can enable Early Access releases through the NVIDIA App’s Settings menu (an official release is planned for September). The same app update introduces per-game Resizable BAR controls, G-SYNC Pulsar settings, and Borderless Windowed mode support for Optimal Playable Settings.

In terms of game updates, 007 First Light will receive a path tracing and DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction update on September 15; CONTROL Resonant launches September 24 and is bundled with select GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, laptops and PCs at launch; Gears of War: E-Day is adding RTX Mega Geometry alongside full DLSS 4.5 support.
NVIDIA RTX Remix now also features DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, with the chipmaker introducing two new community-developed remastering projects, including Painkiller RTX mod update, along with The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind RTX.
RTX Spark & GeForce NOW Expansion

The chipmaker also announced that major game titles are coming to its upcoming RTX Spark silicon for laptops – EA, Embark Studios and Ubisoft are among the publishers bringing titles to the platform, joining KRAFTON, NetEase, Riot Games and Xbox (announced earlier at COMPUTEX). Games confirmed for RTX Spark include: EA SPORTS F1 25, Apex Legends, Anno 117: Pax Romana, ARC Raiders and THE FINALS. NVIDIA also confirmed it is working with EA to bring native Javelin Anticheat support.

Meanwhile, GeForce NOW is adding new DLSS 4.5 controls covering Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction. The service will add Steam Machine and Steam Controller support later in 2026, alongside GOG single sign-on and official Firefox browser support; expanded Fire TV Stick compatibility and direct membership purchases through Amazon are also planned. Titles such as CONTROL Resonant, Gears of War: E-Day, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, The Blood of Dawnwalker and STAR WARS Zero Company will be available on the service soon.
New G-SYNC Pulsar Monitors

The G-SYNC Pulsar monitor range is expanding with new models. AGON by AOC brings the AGP327KG as the first 5K G-SYNC Pulsar monitor, featuring a 31.5-inch, 5120×2880 panel running at 144Hz, alongside G-SYNC Ambient Adaptive Technology for automatic brightness and color adjustment. G-SYNC Pulsar controls are now accessible directly within the NVIDIA App, with a full release planned for September.

ASUS unveiled three new OLED monitors under its ROG line: the Swift OLED PG259QWS Ace (up to 700Hz, 1920×1080), and two Strix OLED models (the XG259QDPG at up to 540Hz and the XG259QDNS at up to 360Hz, both 24.5-inch QD-OLED panels). LG’s previously announced 25G590B-B (a 24.5-inch, 1000Hz IPS monitor, overclockable to 1100Hz) is officially listed at $999 and is expected to ship in the U.S. starting early September.
