ASUS Malaysia has announced that the ROG XBOX Ally X20 will soon be available for pre-order, offered both as a standalone device and as part of a bundle marking ROG’s 20th anniversary.
Malaysians Can Pre-Order ROG XBOX Ally X20 Soon
The special edition of ROG XBOX Ally X is housed in a translucent black chassis with a gold-accented internals, but are otherwise the same as a regular ROG XBOX Ally – a 7.4-inch OLED panel, AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, and excellent ergonomics, to name a few.
If you’re looking at the bundle, this option pairs the handheld with a custom dbrand “Killswitch” case featuring a kickstand and gold-and-black accents, along with a circuit board-patterned skin derived from the device’s internal components. The bundle also includes joystick covers featuring the ROG logo, a custom Pelican Protector Case with red ROG latches and a 20th anniversary badge, and a 68W charger.
The bundle additionally includes a pair of ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, which connect to the XBOX Ally X20 via a single USB Type-C cable and integrate with ROG’s Command Center software.
The ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 glasses include audio developed with BOSE, a 171-inch virtual screen viewed from a simulated four-meter distance, and a 240Hz micro-OLED display with a 57-degree field of view and a 0.01ms response time. The glasses support native 3DoF tracking, allowing the display to follow head movement, along with an Anchor Mode that keeps the screen fixed during gameplay.
ASUS Malaysia clarified that the ROG XBOX Ally X20 and the ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses will both be available for purchase separately.
