COLORFUL has given its flagship iGame X870E VULCAN OC motherboard a fresh coat of paint to spawn the new model that is iGame X870E VULCAN W OC. To make it stand out, the motherboard maker has given the white edition some special visual treatment with an iridescent finish that produces rainbow-like reflections depending on viewing angle and lighting.

That is to say, the iGame X870E VULCAN W OC is pretty much the same thing under that white paint. It features an 18+2+2-phase 110A DrMOS power delivery system paired with a graphics card-inspired heat pipe and fin cooling system to keep the whole operation cool under heavy overclocking; for signal integrity, the board uses a 10-layer PCB with immersion gold and back-drilling to reduce signal loss.
Being an overclocking-focused board means it only has two DDR5 slots to work with. For the two surviving slots, they can operate a lot faster, supporting speeds of up to DDR5-8800+ with AMD Ryzen 9000 processors, DDR5-10600+ with Ryzen 8000 processors, and DDR5-8000+ with Ryzen 7000 processors.
The motherboard includes dedicated overclocking controls, including a Debug display, BIOS switch, and BCLK adjustment, alongside a one-click overclocking button to allow simplified performance tuning for less experienced users. The board also supports COLORFUL’s X3D AI High Frame Rate Mode and has been adapted for AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 processor. It also features a 268×800 pixel onboard LCD display for system monitoring and visual customization.
The iGame X870E VULCAN W OC includes five onboard M.2 slots, with two supporting PCIe 5.0 x4 and three supporting PCIe 4.0 x4 interfaces; front-panel headers includes nine USB ports, including a USB-C port with 20Gbps speed and 60W Power Delivery charging support. The rear I/O panel includes two USB4 ports with 40Gbps bandwidth for display outputs, as well as Thunderbolt-compatible hardware.
The COLORFUL iGame X870E VULCAN W OC motherboard will launch at a suggested retail price of 3,999 Chinese Yuan (~RM2,404).
