Sources told Wccftech that NVIDIA will be launching more models in the RTX 50 series (Blackwell) lineup, this time focusing on mainstream markets. The model in question is the RTX 5060 Ti, and like its predecessor, it’ll be available in two flavors.

RTX 5060 Ti: Launch Dates & Leaked Specs

According to the publication, the new RTX 5060 Ti will use the PG152 board that “presumably deploy” the GB206 silicon; two variants – 16GB GDDR7 and 8GB GDDR7 – will be available, launched separately. The former will be launched in the second half of March, whereas the latter will enter the retail market in the first half of April. The launch date was allegedly delayed to its current targets due to supply constraints, which are currently impacting many of the RTX 50 cards right now.

As mentioned, both RTX 5060 Ti variants will use GDDR7 which provides 55% boost in memory bandwidth over its predecessor, despite retaining the same 128-bit memory bus found in the RTX 40’s counterparts. Power draw is said to be 180W this time around, which is a 20W increase from the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB, or 15W when compared to the 16GB version; power will be supplied through 12-pin 12V-2×6 connector, or PCIe 8-pin connectors in some cases.

Unsurprisingly, pricing is still very much an unknown at this point – though with how bad the GPU prices have surged lately, it’s hard to say if the MSRP announced by NVIDIA will be enforced at all. Still, this is a segment that AMD will be strongly competing this time around with the Radeon RX 9000 series, and Intel is also taking a shot at nabbing Team Green’s market share with its Arc B-series cards launched earlier this year, so market forces should at least keep the mid-range segment in check.

Pokdepinion: Let’s hope there are no more issues for this batch of cards.
