American gaming peripheral maker CORSAIR has introduced the K70 CORE gaming keyboard designed for esports athletes and gamers alike, featuring the new MLX Red linear mechanical switches that makes its debut in this keyboard.

The MLX Red linear switches have been pre-lubricated to offer “smooth, satisfying keypresses ideally suited for keyboard enthusiasts and gamers.” The switch’s construction itself is also optimized to reduce stem wobble; surrounding the switches are two layers of sound-dampening foam to minimize disruptive ‘ping’ and ‘clack’ noises.

One of the standout features of the K70 CORE is its multi-function rotary dial, allowing users to adjust RGB brightness, scroll through webpages, and zoom – there’s also a programmable button for media controls, on par with most gaming keyboards in this class. The keyboard can be customized further using the CORSAIR iCUE software, enabling per-key RGB backlighting, macro programming, key remapping, and more.

The K70 CORE gaming keyboard is now available through the CORSAIR webstore and authorized retailers, backed by a two-year warranty and CORSAIR’s extensive customer service and technical support network. For Malaysian markets, the keyboard is officially priced at RM499.

Pokdepinion: Wonder what’s the decision behind changing the fonts to a more generic looking ones. I actually liked the ones on the K70/K100, for example.
