Keychron Malaysia has announced the availability of the Keychron K3 Max, the brand’s low-profile wireless mechanical keyboard with 75% form factor. Like most wireless keyboards, it supports both Bluetooth (up to three devices) and 2.4GHz wireless, along with the wired USB-C option if that’s what you prefer.

The upgrades introduced this time around include redesigned stabilizers for large keys such as the Spacebar, Shift, Backspace, and Enter; under the 84 keys lies the newly upgraded IXPE acoustic foams that delivers “soft, whisper-quiet sound.” The keyboard also features 22 dynamic RGB backlight effects, hot-swappable switches (you get three Gateron options to choose from by default), and double-shot PBT keycaps which tends to resist wear better than ABS counterparts.
Uniquely, customization for this keyboard can be done through its browser-based configurator that allows users to remap keys, create macros, assign shortcuts, and update firmware – no software installation required. Battery life is quoted as up to 78 hours with backlight off, or up to 40 hours with backlight on. Three switches are available to choose from: Gateron Red low-profile (linear), Gateron Brown low-profile (tactile) and Gateron Blue low-profile (clicky).
