ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has outlined its plans for Gamescom 2024, which will include both online and in-person events in Germany. Under the theme “Ahead of the Game,” the company will introduce its latest gaming hardware, alongside a series of fan events and a giveaway campaign worth $10,000 in total.
ROG At Gamescom 2024
The ROG Gamescom press event is scheduled for August 20 at 4:00 PM CEST (10:00 PM Malaysian Time) and will be livestreamed globally via YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitch, Twitter (X), and more platforms. Here, you can expect latest gaming products, including motherboards, CPUs, graphics cards, OLED monitors, and Wi-Fi 7 routers to be introduced here, along with new gaming mice, keyboards, and audio gear.
In addition to product launches, ROG will host a fan party on August 21, which is set to feature an exclusive appearance of Valorant Champions 2023 winner and MVP, Max “Demon1” Mazanov of NRG Esports. The show will also feature personalities including Ben’s Hardware and der8auer.
ASUS is also running a global giveaway from August 6-21, offering fans the chance to win over US$10,000 worth of gaming products. Known prizes include a ROG Strix RTX 4080 SUPER GPU and several ROG-branded peripherals, though some of them will remain under wraps until August 20, including two new unnamed AMD motherboards. AMD 800 series, perhaps? (There’s also the Warhammer-themed TUF Radeon GPU up for grabs.)
