[COMPUTEX 2025] Kingston Demonstrates Latest DDR5 RAM & PCIe 5.0 SSD Offerings

Kingston has announced its latest innovations at COMPUTEX 2025 under the theme “Kingston Powers Tomorrow: Committed to the AI Future.” The company’s exhibition highlights its memory and storage technologies in practical applications across artificial intelligence, robotics, aerospace, and creative industries.

In the Kingston Intelligence Hub, the company presents its enterprise memory and storage solutions designed to support AI and datacenter use – this includes the new DC3000ME PCIe 5.0 NVMe U.2 SSD and Server Premier DDR5 memory; the company also collaborated with Taiwan Intelligent Robotics Company (TIRC) to demonstrate its storage technologies in a multi-modal inspection robot deployed in industrial environments.

In the gaming-focused FURY Acceleration Center, Kingston highlights its consumer-facing memory and SSD products for gaming and high-performance computing, which includes the new FURY Renegade G5 SSD and FURY Renegade DDR5 CUDIMM. The more interesting stuff is the FURY Impact DDR5 CAMM2 modules, shown installed on a CAMM2-compatible GIGABYTE AORUS motherboard – it’s been a while since the new standard has been introduced, and I honestly would like more efforts from motherboard and laptop makers to accelerate the adoption given the lack of such.

The Innovative Creators Lab focuses on Kingston’s applications in aerospace and creative sectors. The company partners with Rocket Technology Exploration Team (RTET), a student group from Taiwanese universities NTUST and NFU to demonstrate its solutions in flight and mission control systems. The demonstration involves a full-scale custom rocket powered by FURY Renegade G5 SSD, which captures and transmits real-time flight data while Kingston components in a desktop-based PC enable ground-based data analysis.

Kingston also presents its portable storage products with updated designs for the XS1000 and XS2000 external SSDs (including a small design update to include the company’s new slogan, “Built For Commitment”), the new DataTraveler Exodia S USB drive, and refreshed Canvas Plus SD and microSD cards with enhanced speed capabilities.
