Kingston has been named the top third-party DRAM module supplier globally for 2023 by analyst firm TrendForce, marking its 21st consecutive year in this position.

Kingston Continues DRAM Module Supplier Leadership

According to TrendForce’s latest rankings by revenue, Kingston holds a dominant 68.8% market share despite an overall 28% year-on-year decline in DRAM module sales due to high inventory levels and reduced demand in the consumer electronics sector. While the memory maker saw a slight decrease in revenue, its strong brand presence and regional market strategy helped it retain its leading position.

In 2023, Kingston expanded its product lineup, introducing the FURY Renegade Pro DDR5 RDIMM for datacenters and workstations, and validating its DDR5 Server Premier memory for use with Intel’s 4th Gen Xeon Scalable Processors. Additionally, the company also updated its FURY Renegade DDR4 memory with a new design, and earlier in the year, celebrated the milestone of shipping over 100 million overclockable modules.

“The 2023 findings from TrendForce reflect the company’s ongoing strength and adaptability in the face of yet another demanding business year,” the company stated in the press release. “This milestone not only reaffirms Kingston’s dominant presence in the market but also underscores the company’s resilience and significance within the industry, as we now proudly maintain our top position for the 21st consecutive year.”

Pokdepinion: The dominance continues.
