CES 2021: Kingston Unveils New NVMe SSD Lineup Plus Workflow Station

The folks at Kingston has revealed their upcoming NVMe SSD, Kingston Workflow Stations and Reader at this year’s CES 2021. Here’s the products that’s being showcased.

Kingston Workflow Station and Readers

 

Kingston’s Workflow Station and Readers give users the freedom to create and customize a file offload setup, making video, photos, and audio from multiple sources at once.

With it, you can simultaneously connect the USB miniHUB, SD or microSD readers that the shoot requires to transfer footage quickly. Aside from that, it can also be used standalone by connecting to a laptop through the included USB-C cable, giving you flexibility.

Aside from that, they’ve also unveil their SSD offerings at CES 2021, which includes their first PCIe NVMe Gen 4.0 as well as external USB 3.2 SSD. The former is the Ghost Tree which offers 7000MB/s read and write speed with a capacity from 1TB to 4TB.

There’s the Kingston NV Series, their latest Gen 3.0 x4 SSD that makes it ideal for first-time NVMe users with capacities up to 2TB. On the other hand is the Kingston XS2000, the brand’s new USB 3.2 Gen 2 x 2 external drives with 500GB to 2TB capacity option that comes with a USB Type-C interface that allows data transfers up to 2000MB/s.

Last on the list is the Kingston DC1500M, a Data Center that serves as an update tot he previous DC1000M. The U.2 NVMe SSD is designed to support a wide range of data-intensive workloads including cloud computing, web hosting, and virtual infrastructures.

Pokdepinion: That Kingston Workflow Station and Readers isn’t something that you’d see everyday. Looks pretty interesting. Let’s hope that all of the products will make their way here to Malaysia.
