The WD Black SN750 NVMe SSDs are some awesome looking drives, and they are speedy ones too. But they are also premium SSDs, so if you are looking for a more affordable drive, you might want to check out the latest member of the WD Blue family: the WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD.

The SSD is designed to deliver performance, reliability and value to system builders and end users. Western Digital boasts that the WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSD delivers over 4x the read speeds of their own SATA SSDs with read speeds of up to 2400MB/s and write speeds of up to 1950MB/s. With capacities ranging from 250GB to 1TB, there are capacities to suit everyone’s needs. And all of the drives come with 5-year warranties for peace of mind.

The new WD Blue SN550 NVMe SSDs come in the standard M.2 2280 form factor and support the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface. Western Digital also claims an upgraded thermal design that will deliver better sustained performance even under intense use. Here are the full specifications of the drives:
