HappyFresh Suspends Operations In Malaysia?
Grocery delivery company HappyFresh has seemingly suspending operations in Malaysia as sighted by Rnggt. Latest notice under the app’s Promotions tab states that all stores in the platform will be closed temporarily until it can “resolve the issue”.
However, the company did not specify the nature of the issue nor the expected time to resume services, only stating that the issue taking them “longer to resolve the problem than expected”. As tested, no purchase can be made at this time.
It is speculated that the ongoing financial turmoil happening on the Indonesian company may have caused the sudden downtime, as per report from Bloomberg. The report states that the company hired a turnaround firm, Alvarez & Marshal, to assess its financials as it struggled to raise more funds for its operations.
