TikTok Shop Officially Launched in Malaysia
TikTok Plans to Support Local SMEs
According to the company, Tiktok Shop is a part of TikTok’s effort to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) that have yet to open a store to sell their products due to the high initial capital. According to Darren Quek, TikTok Malaysia Strategy Operations Manager, they hope that the platform will help define Malaysia’s e-commerce market and inspire more local SMEs to utilize TikTok Shop’s opportunities to interact with customers and create a successful business.
For business owners who are interested in TikTok Shop, the company only charges a 1% payment service fee and zero commission fees to all merchants at the current time. Existing customers can enjoy up to six free shipping vouchers every month and new customers will get an extra voucher for the platform.

TikTok Shop is commencing its Raya Sales campaign from now until 30th April 2022 for buyers to enjoy a variety of offers during this festive season which includes free shipping vouchers, discounts up to 99%, and discount coupons.
