Maxis partners PROTON for 5G case deployment
The network installation began last month in October. The partnership between them is part of PROTON’s growth strategy into developing Proton City as a model smart city through innovative tools and systems.
They’ve said that the use case will rely on a purpose-built 5G network and Maxis will manage the end-to-end services for several IoT solutions at Proton’s manufacturing headquarters in Tanjung Malim, Perak.
PROTON has said they are aiming to build their Smart Manufacturing Campus through the promise of high-speed data transfer and low latency and take advantage of what 5G has to offer in extending the research and development in Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) technology.
