It appears that Spotify has decided to bring back a lyrics feature to their users for both subscribers and free users.

The news comes after Spotify has partnered up with Musixmatch where it is said that they’ve covered more than 8 million songs on the platform in terms of lyrics.
It has been available on certain regions prior to this but it’s now rolling out to every user. Aside from providing lyrics on the app, it also offers lyrics sharing on social media, available for all platforms. This includes Android, iOS, Windows, consoles, and smart TVs that has the Spotify app natively.
To top it off, the company is removing the Behind the Lyrics feature which provides lyrics as well as some fun facts about the song that you’re listening and artist.
