Amazon has just launched the Prime Video app for macOS, that’s now available as a free download from the Mac App Store. Prime Video for Mac will come with features like offline downloads and preferred video quality options for both streaming and downloads.

Prime Video now available with native macOS support

Aside from the aforementioned features, Prime Video on macOS will also support macOS features like Picture-in-Picture and AirPlay. The app is available for macOS Big Sur (11.4) and newer.

You can perform in-app transactions for TV on-demand purchases and rentals to get more content. As you would expect, Prime Video on macOS will give you the ability to continue where you left off, so you can start watching on your iPhone or iPad, and continue the experience on your Mac.
