MSI has confirmed full support for Intel 200S Boost overclocking profile across its Z890 motherboard lineup, which allows users to improve DDR5 memory and CPU interconnect performance when using Intel Core Ultra 200S K-series processors in combination with Z890 motherboards.

Like XMP memory overclocking, this overclocking profile can be activated one-click in MSI’s Click BIOS X interface – no additional tuning required. All you need is a compatible processor and memory kit (works on both UDIMM and CUDIMM), the feature can be instantly enabled to provide additional performance improvements. MSI has also released updated BIOS versions (released on April 22nd) for all supported Z890 models, which includes the following:

As announced by Intel, applying overclocking profiles under this condition will not invalidate the CPU’s 3-year warranty provided by the chipmaker, although stability testing is recommended to ensure the system can work at faster clock speeds.
