NTT DATA has announced the launch of its business unit for Microsoft Cloud to address growing demand for “secure, AI-driven enterprise cloud transformation.” The unit combines NTT DATA’s expertise in Microsoft Cloud, security and AI solutions to support cloud modernization, scale Agentic AI, and manage sovereignty and compliance requirements.

The company says its new business unit, led by SVP and unit head Aishwarya Singh, operates across more than 50 countries with over 24,000 Microsoft certifications and focuses on “cloud-native development, cybersecurity, observability, and Agentic AI”; it aims to work closely with Microsoft’s engineering teams to provide Microsoft Cloud solutions in varying industries, including regulated markets.

Core areas include scaling Agentic AI using Microsoft 365 Copilot and Azure AI Foundry, modernizing applications on Microsoft Azure, accelerating cloud-native development through NTT DATA’s Industry Cloud platform, enhancing workplace connectivity with Microsoft 365, and advancing sovereign cloud adoption under the Microsoft AI Cloud partner program.

The announcement follows the recent launch of NTT DATA’s Agentic AI Services for Hyperscaler AI Technologies, built on Azure and Azure AI Foundry, which has generated nearly 100 enterprise opportunities within 90 days.
