Gamers in Malaysia can finally secure their units of the ROG Xbox Ally Malaysia handhelds. ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG), in partnership with Xbox, has officially opened pre-orders for both the ROG Xbox Ally and the upgraded ROG Xbox Ally X.
Pre-orders begin from 8.15PM on 3 October 2025, starting at RM2,699 for the ROG Xbox Ally and RM4,299 for the ROG Xbox Ally X. Both models will be available on shelves nationwide from 17 October 2025 at authorized ASUS resellers.
ROG Xbox Ally Malaysia – Two models, big performance jump
The new ROG Xbox Ally series brings console comfort and PC power together.
- ROG Xbox Ally X – Powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, paired with 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1 TB SSD. It comes with a 7-inch 120 Hz FHD display, Gorilla Glass Victus, 80 Wh battery, contoured Xbox-style grips, impulse triggers, and weighs 715 g. Performance is up to 30% higher in AAA titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle compared to the older model, with up to 2x battery life in games like Hollow Knight: Silksong.
- ROG Xbox Ally – Featuring the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM, and a 512 GB SSD. Also equipped with a 7-inch 120 Hz FHD display, Gorilla Glass Victus, 60 Wh battery, and Xbox-inspired ergonomics at just 670 g. Offers up to 20% better performance in Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded, with improved battery life.
Both systems run Windows 11 Home, support Xbox Game Pass, and allow access to all major PC game storefronts in one library. AMD’s latest features including FSR, RSR, and AFMF frame generation are supported for smoother gameplay.
