Ahead of the main event, MSI announced it has secured four Best Choice Awards at COMPUTEX 2026, including a Gold Award for the GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z graphics card. The awards cover multiple product categories including graphics cards, gaming laptops, PSUs and peripherals.
MSI’s COMPUTEX 2026 Accolades
First debuted on CES 2026, the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 LIGHTNING Z marks the return of MSI’s LIGHTNING line of uber-flagship graphics cards with some of the most overbuilt hardware you can find in the name of overclocking: think 40-phase VRM, dual 16-pin 12V-2×6 power connectors, 1000W maximum power limit, and an AIO cooling system to boot. For aesthetic points, this GPU also includes an 8-inch display onboard for monitoring and customization.
MSI also received recognition in the Gaming and Immersive Tech category for the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Draco Epic laptop, based on the company’s flagship gaming laptop design. The limited-edition special is introduced as part of MSI’s 40th anniversary lineup, with specs under the wraps for now – expect details to be revealed on the show floor next week.
In the power supply category, MSI is set to introduce MPG Ai TS series power supplies, “specifically designed for the safety requirements of modern high-end graphics cards during AI edge computing and big data processing.” Ignore that pandering bit in the latter half, it’s still very much a gaming-focused PSU that joins the emerging wave of new models on the market featuring active 12V-2×6 rail protections, in this case branded as “GPU Safeguard+” for per-pin current monitoring on two of its 12V-2×6 connectors.
MSI also presented the STRIKE ALLOY TMR keyboard with accompanying STRIKE NEXUS module, with the former featuring tunnelling magnetoresistance (TMR) sensors that provide better performance over Hall Effect sensors, along with 8,000Hz polling rate and support for both magnetic and mechanical switches through a hot-swappable design. The latter is a modular magnetic attachment of the keyboard with a 4.3-inch touchscreen for macro controls (a la Stream Deck) with an unusual feature on top of that – external M.2 SSD expansion.
MSI will showcase the products during COMPUTEX 2026, which will take place from 2 to 5 June at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX) Hall 1 at booth J0605a (1F) and booth L0118 (4F). We’ll be heading there ourselves to check out the new products, so watch this space.
