The event was built around a series of interactive challenge stations, each designed to highlight how TNG eWallet has grown beyond a simple payment tool into what the brand describes as an all-in-one financial and lifestyle ecosystem. Rather than navigating between multiple separate apps for different financial needs, the pitch is that everything is already consolidated within the main dashboard.
Among the features spotlighted at the event was GOfinance, a built-in financial hub that allows users to manage micro-investments and browse insurance options without leaving the app. GOYang, a location-based feature, lets users shake their phone while out and about to unlock exclusive vouchers and cash rewards from nearby merchants. GOrewards functions as a centralised loyalty system where digital transactions accumulate points redeemable for lifestyle cashbacks or gadget giveaways.
On the practical side, the app also covers everyday utility bill payments and BUDI95 petrol subsidy management, positioning it as a broader digital assistant for daily financial tasks rather than just a mobile wallet.
The event format appeared designed to bridge the gap between what long-time users assume the app can do and what it has quietly expanded to offer. For many attendees, the challenge stations likely surfaced features they had overlooked despite having the app installed for years.
