The World AI Show Malaysia 2026 concluded at DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, marking the 48th global edition of the Trescon-organised summit. The two-day event drew more than 1,500 business and technology leaders, policymakers, C-suite executives, and enterprise decision-makers for discussions centered on AI adoption, digital infrastructure, and Malaysia’s broader ambitions as a regional AI hub.
Datuk Fabian Bigar, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Digital, delivered the official opening address, setting the tone for two days of high-level dialogue spanning government agencies, government-linked companies, multinational enterprises, and technology providers.

The summit featured more than 50 speakers drawn from across Malaysia’s public and private sectors. Representatives included senior figures from Bank Negara Malaysia, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Bursa Malaysia, PETRONAS, CelcomDigi, Labuan Financial Services Authority, and the National Cyber Security Agency (NACSA), among others. Sessions covered AI infrastructure, sovereign cloud, data governance, enterprise AI deployment, generative AI, cybersecurity, responsible AI, and AI-powered business transformation.
The event also featured closed-door executive sessions and curated networking opportunities designed to connect technology providers with enterprise buyers, investors, and government stakeholders exploring partnerships and cross-border collaborations.
