The HUAWEI Watch 6 Series has officially launched in Malaysia, which arrives in two models: the HUAWEI Watch 6 and the HUAWEI Watch 6 Pro. Launching alongside the new smartwatch lineup is the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max as its latest entry for the earbuds segment.
HUAWEI Watch 6 Series

Both models in the HUAWEI Watch 6 Series carry spherical sapphire glass across the lineup, offering improved durability and display clarity. The Watch 6 Pro steps up with titanium alloy and nano-tech ceramic construction, with display brightness reaching up to 3,500 nits on the Pro variants. The standard Watch 6 opts for a lighter build complemented by HUAWEI’s EasyCross strap for a more comfortable daily fit.

At the lineup’s core is the upgraded X-TAP sensor system, featuring a 20-level tactile sensor and 12-channel PPG sensor for comprehensive health sensing. A single 60-second tap through the Health Glance feature gives users an overview of 13 health metrics spanning basic health, cardiovascular health, endocrine health and respiratory health.
The Watch 6 Series is the first smartwatch in Malaysia to support both a Hypertension Risk Study and a Diabetes Risk Study, the former of which is conducted in collaboration with Sunway University with the aim of validating HUAWEI’s wearable technologies for hypertension risk screening in real-world settings.

Daily wellness features include a Morning Briefing, Physical Readiness Score and Health Analysis to help users track changes in their wellbeing. The series also supports eSIM connectivity for independent calls, Dual-Phone Connection across two smartphones, Petal Maps navigation, music and audiobook playback, and enhanced safety features. Battery life is rated for 7 days for 42mm models, or up to 11 days for the 46mm models.
Gesture controls including Quick Flip, Pinch and Slide allow users to manage selected watch functions more intuitively, and the Celia voice assistant is available for added convenience. For fitness, the series supports over 100 sports modes covering everyday workouts through to trail running, golf and freediving down to 40 meters. The Watch 6 Pro adds the Expedition App for route planning, offline maps, waypoint marking and return navigation.

The series is available in two size options across both models – the HUAWEI Watch 6 comes in a 46mm variant in Black and Blue, and a 42mm variant in Gold, starting from RM1,799; the HUAWEI Watch 6 Pro is offered in a 46mm Space Edition and a 43mm Ceramic Edition, starting from RM2,699. Both are available at HUAWEI Experience Stores and official online stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max

Joining the Watch 6 Series is the HUAWEI FreeBuds SE 5 Max, priced at RM159. The earbuds offer up to 80 hours of total playback with the charging case and up to 10 hours on a single charge. Noise cancelling reaches up to 52dB with its Adaptive ANC, backed by a six-microphone system for clearer calls.

The FreeBuds SE 5 Max supports Bluetooth 6.0 and Dual-Device connectivity across iOS, Android and laptops. It is Hi-Res Audio certified with LDAC support, and carries an IP55 water and dust resistance rating. The earbuds are available at HUAWEI Experience Stores and HUAWEI’s official online channels on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
