Malaysian fintech company JurisTech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thailand’s TBN Corporation to develop end-to-end digital lending solutions powered by artificial intelligence. The partnership aims to connect the entire lending lifecycle under a single framework, covering loan origination, credit assessment, loan management, collections, debt restructuring, recovery and litigation collections.
The collaboration is built around JurisTech’s concept of a “One Connected Lending Lifecycle,” which integrates AI across each stage of the lending process rather than treating them as separate systems. The two companies say this approach reduces manual data handoffs, cuts operating costs and helps lenders respond faster to regulatory changes in Thailand’s lending market.
JurisTech Partners With TBN Under New MoU
While the partnership covers both banks and non-bank financial institutions, the initial focus is on the non-bank segment, which is seeing growth in Thailand alongside tightening regulatory requirements. Non-bank lenders serve consumers and small businesses that often have limited credit histories, making them a natural fit for AI-driven credit assessment tools.
JurisTech’s technology stack includes capabilities for automated document processing, credit scoring, decision optimization and risk management. The combined offering with TBN is intended to give lenders a more complete view of customer data, reduce repetitive manual work and allow faster adaptation of lending policies and products when regulations or market conditions shift.
TBN Chief Executive Officer Panayu Sirikrachangsri said the partnership addresses longstanding challenges in the Thai lending market, including fragmented systems that cause repeated data handoffs, incomplete applicant information and difficulty keeping pace with evolving compliance requirements. He framed the goal as helping lenders achieve both regulatory compliance and competitive performance simultaneously.
JurisTech CEO See Wai Hun described Thailand as one of the region’s most progressive financial markets and said the company’s 360-degree AI lending technology, combined with TBN’s local market knowledge and operational presence, positions the partnership to move Thai lenders beyond isolated digital projects toward a fully connected lending infrastructure.
Pokdepinion: If your whole lending system needs an MoU to talk to itself, maybe the real product is just basic integration.
